PM Surya Ghar subsidy

For residential connections the central subsidy is ₹30,000 for a 1 kW system, ₹60,000 for 2 kW, and ₹78,000 for 3 kW and above. It is credited directly to your bank account after the system is commissioned and net-metered. Commercial and industrial connections are not eligible.

Finance

Nationalised banks offer collateral-free rooftop solar loans for residential systems up to 10 kW, with tenures up to ten years. In most cases the monthly instalment is close to what you were already paying in electricity bills.
